I resisted Sex and the City for years until one night there was nothing to watch on television. I reluctantly tuned to WGN, Channel 9 in Chicago and thus, through re-runs, I began a relationship with Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda that has spanned a number of years.
